A note from Steven:
I spent thirty-two months in a Texas prison. That’s where I found Jesus and made Him a promise: I would never touch opiates or prescription pills again.
I was released in August of 2020. I was single, no car, no driver’s license, and an ankle monitor on. I started a small side hustle: picking up dog poop every week in my parents neighborhood.
Tony, my brother and business partner, bought me a box of door hangers that said "I Scoop Poop! AFFORDABLE Weekly/Bi-weekly Rates! I held that box and prayed over it, asking God to bless me with recurring customers. My mom would drop me off down the street, and hours later, pick me up on the other side. I would knock doors daily gaining at least 1 customer a day. Well...
God answered that prayer.
Today, we serve more than five hundred families across the DFW Metroplex. We do 75-125 yards a day, monday through Saturday. I successfully completed parole in 2023. Now, I get to stand as a husband, a father, an entrepreneur, and inspirational speaker. I have a great team that works with integrity, discipline, and focus. They help me keep the yards clean.
This business didn’t just pull me out of a hole. It gave me a life of purpose and gratitude.
